Obedience to the call of God has taken Ralph and Donna to more than 95 countries of the world — planting churches, training leaders, encouraging national pastors, and overseeing many missionaries and benevolent projects with apostolic fatherhood.
Their career started over 40 years ago in the Caribbean islands as a young couple committed to the nations. They have three children — all born abroad. Their two sons, Stephen and Tim, pastor congregations in the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex; they are always poised to assist in foreign trips as opportunities allow.
In the beginning of their missions career, they pioneered church plants in the islands and later relocated to Costa Rica where they planted 17 churches over a period of 8 years and now oversee many pastors and new churches throughout that nation and Central America.
The ministry established in Nicaragua as an outgrowth of their missions involvement, is perhaps one of the most outstanding examples of the Lord’s mandate to impact a nation for His Kingdom. Thousands of pastors have been trained, an example church has been established, children and the needy have been blessed through the Donna Holland School in Diriamba, missionaries and national leaders have been empowered, churches have been planted and the future is victorious for the ministry in Nicaragua.
For a time, they also lived in Guadalajara, Mexico while developing a network of related ministries that has now grown to embrace multiple nations. Due to the travel demands, relocation to Dallas proved to be strategic to the development of their calling over the past 20 years. During that time, they established Mundo de Fe Ministries, a Spanish speaking congregation in Dallas that has grown to more than 2000 members leading to the development of a growing network throughout the Spanish-speaking world. The mother church is now pastored by their son allowing Ralph and Donna to fully embrace their apostolic oversight and missions ministry.
In addition to the many Latin nations, they have also provided covering and leadership in Nigeria, — in Asia with several national ministers throughout India,– a ministry in Thailand that is effectively using media to reach that Buddhist nation, — the establishment of training centers in Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam to equip young people to plant churches among unreached people groups, — in Europe with an outstanding church plant in Spain, – and in Turkey where official government recognition has been obtained in a “closed” nation and a wonderful church has been planted, — in covering of ministries that are training and reaching out to “kids at risk,” – as well as more recent involvement in the earthquake damaged nation of Haiti.
The Hollands also provide administrative oversight through a well established missions sending agency known as International Missions Network and represent many associates through that service.
Not only do they maintain a rigorous ministry schedule abroad, but they service stateside churches with the development of missions awareness rallies — exposing churches to the diversity of missions opportunities with proven associates and national leaders, while motivating the congregation to invest in souls which will bring eternal dividends.
